Welcome to my Sunday: The Bruce High Quality Foundation is filming “Island of the Dead” on Governor’s Island this weekend as part of Creative Time’s Plot 09: This World and Nearer Ones, a series of 19 public art commissions that opens on Governors Island on 27 June. The “look” for this one, I’ve been told, is less ‘Night of the Living Dead’ and more ‘Laura Palmer.’ Twin Peaks? I’m there.
