Drew settles last night’s (random!) Pope debate once and for all. All hands on deck agreed that Wojtyła trumps Ratzinger, hands down. (The man did, after all, have a profound impact on my late nanny’s interior decorating skills.) JPII won points for Catholic-Jewish relations, the fall of Communism, and Apartheid. Major fail on the AIDS crisis, however, which Ratzinger has done little — nay, nothing — to make amends for.)
