Next up at the New Museum/Creative Time: “Conversations About Iraq,” a project by Turner Prize winner Jeremy Deller commissioned by both institutions, along with the Three M Project. Expect a spectacle of epic proportions: From 11 February to 22 March, the NewMu will host a series of talks and events focused on — drum roll — Iraq. Shortly thereafter, Jeremy, Creative Time curator Nato Thompson, and a few other foks (including former military servicemen) will depart for a three-week cross country extravaganza in an RV, wherein they’ll take the pulse on citizens’ attitudes toward the war that just won’t end.
