“What does the worst recession in a generation look like?” asks the Times. Orange — it looks very orange. Interestingly, chromatic opposites are shown to be less visually threatening then their primary parents (hence some editors’ choice to employ green rather than red for line edits). A strikethrough, however, is still a strikethrough — no matter how you color it.
